The word "shaman" has a special charge to it and it has been misused to label indigenous people shrouded in mystery who dance by the bonfire and take hallucinogen substances in order to speak with their ancestors for healing. Well, that's only partly true …
Shamans are intermediaries between the human and spirit worlds
and have been around since the beginning of humanity.
Shamanism a way of life and a method of living. Based on seeing God in all the natural elements of our world, the Shaman communicates with the natural elements through Animal Spirit Guides and Great Spirit Guides to bring harmony into their community.
Since the mid 1970's I was taught the true essence of Shamanism is available to every person regardless of race, gender, age, heritage, social or financial status or religious beliefs. I have been taught that Great Spirit, God, Source, belongs to everyone and not to just a select few.
Shamanism is for All People of the World based on the principals of Intention, Intuition, Compassion and Action.
