Shamanism is thought of as the Original Religion, but in reality, it's not a religion at all. It is a way of life and a method of living authentically and naturally. Our world has changed since the beginning of time and Shamanism has evolved with the times, keeping deeply committed to the roots of its core beliefs. Shamans are intermediaries between the human and spirit worlds communicating with the natural elements through Animal Spirit Guides and Great Spirit Guides to bring harmony into their community.

 

A Shaman works through mystical insight based on seeing God in all the natural elements of our world. They can treat illness and are capable of entering supernatural realms to obtain answers to the problems of their community. No one culture owns Shamanism, it belongs to and grows from your own personal calling to live authentically.

The next Shamans Path to Awakened Living class begins April 2021.


Last year, 2020, was a challenging year and the Global events shook us all. Our class began as usual then rapidly shifted as the pandemic took over our consciousness. We made changes to accommodate the events before us and took Shamanism into the virtual world. For the most part, with such little prep time and virtual knowledge, we did really well and our students will attest to that.  This year, 2021, we hope to be better than ever.

Wanting to be “in-person” for this class is a dream and we will do what we can to make that happen as we can. I feel however, it will be best for everyone the class remains virtual. Even if we are able to accommodate “in-person” there will be limited seating and the virtual aspect will remain the principal method of class.

All classes will be held on SUNDAY from 2pm - 7pm. If you have to miss a class you will have an opportunity to view the recording of the class as well as there will be an on-line virtual  make up class on the SATURDAY before our scheduled class from 10am - 1pm. If you missed a class, the makeup class is necessary to continue. You will be allowed 3 makeup classes per year.

This long form shamanic training prepares you to accept the Shaman’s Path as a way of living and gives you not only the foundation of shamanism but also the tools to discover for yourself the deeper life you can live by living as a modern day Global Shaman. There will be at least one SHAMANIC JOURNEY each session and more will be required in the interim between sessions.

Each class builds upon the last and each level is required for the next. You can take the classes one at a time with an upfront 3 month minimum commitment and stop anytime you like but you must start from the beginning and build up.

Our Shaman community is growing with activities outside of class of which you will be able to attend, including extra classes, ceremonies and social gatherings as the world allows us for gathering. This is a dynamic group of like minded people and often I hear when you first come into the community you feel like you have found your home … your people.

Time Commitment:

This course follows a 1 meeting/month for 10 months
Sunday class is from 2pm - 7pm

Make Up classes are the following month from 10am - 12:30pm - then you will return for the next class at 2pm - 7pm. (payment is required for makeup classes)

 

The 10th class ~ January 9/ Eagle ~ is an appointment meeting with Mentors from earlier classes to review the year. Appointment times will be scheduled 1 month in advance. There is no cost to this meeting.



There will be “homework” in between classes:

Journey: recommended 1 hour x 2/month
Meditation: 15 minutes/session x 3/wk
Shamanic Exercises: as per session, @ 3 hours/month​
